This was composed and recorded during what was probably Tapegerm’s most active time. I believe it was David Alexander MacDonald who suggested a concept album around the Kraken and he assigned parts of the piece to the various artists in Tapegerm Collective. I was assigned the prelude and this is the result; very un-Tapegerm as it’s just me on pipe organ playing live.

The Kraken album never did see eventual fruition and this track has been gathering dust for over a decade until its release now under the Briyan Frederick project.
